Campaign Overview

Our Home for Now Hope for Tomorrow campaign will make it possible for us to build a second Ronald McDonald House.  We envision this new home as a place where families and their children can seek refuge, respite, and community while they go through one of the toughest times of their lives.

The Gift of Land

In December 2020, John Paul R. Kernahan in memory of Michael S. Linsk generously donated the land we need for this new home. Through his donation of one acre of land located just around the corner from the current Ronald McDonald House, we have the opportunity to fulfill our strategic plan goals to meet a growing need.  It is the beginning of what will become our second Ronald McDonald House. Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas officially broke ground in December of 2022, and construction is now underway.

The new one-story home will consist of independent family spaces on the donated property.  The building, once completed, will provide long-term housing for up to eight families at a time.  The facility will include independent living units, a play area, courtyard, parking, and an office for Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas staff.

The Design and Construction Team

The building of a second Ronald McDonald House would not be possible without the vision of the Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas Board of Directors, the determination of Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas Executive Staff, the organization of Grand Canyon Development Partners, the creativity of NOVUS Architecture + Interiors, and the reliability of Rafael Construction.
