“I’m very excited! I like that this was so easy and all of the staff is very kind. Having four days to choose from makes a difference for families that share custody of their children too.”
She shared that their step siblings are able to receive annual dental exams because they have Medicaid and that they come home excited to share their clean teeth with the family. This had made it hard for Lincoln and Charlie-May to smile with their teeth.

Because of Smarts & Smiles, Lincoln and Charlie-May were able to get their teeth examined and cleaned before the start of the new school year, at no cost. They were proudly smiling when they left the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile and excited to go home with a backpack full of school supplies too. The confidence with their clean smiles meant so much to their mom as she shared, “Their world is their peers, and being able to confidently smile around their peers makes all the difference”.
