Cook your favorite dinner for our families staying at the House! You create the menu, purchase the ingredients, and then prepare the meal in our fully equipped kitchen. Dinner is served daily at 6pm.
Everybody loves a sweet treat, and our families are no different! Come to the House and make desserts in our House kitchen. Determine what you want to make, gather the ingredients, and prepare your recipe here at the House. This opportunity is available 11:30am – 2:30pm
Every season brings a new project with it, whether it’s preparing for our annual food drive or decorating our House for the holidays. Because of this, our special events and projects are always in flux! Join our email list to periodically hear from our Volunteer Manager, regarding events and projects taking place. You’ll be the first to know!
Family Room hosts provide a welcoming face to families using the room, which is located in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sunrise Children’s Hospital. Duties include checking families in, giving Family Room tours, performing simple administrative tasks, light housekeeping, and keeping the kitchenette stocked. The Ronald McDonald Family Room® is open daily from 9:00am-9:00pm, with three, 4-hour shifts per day. Shifts are available every day.

Some of these opportunities are completely virtual and some involve dropping off your creations at the Ronald McDonald House at a time best for you. You might even be able to drive our RMHC Shuttle Van!
